MONTREAL (CBC) - A Montreal woman was kidnapped early Wednesday in Haiti's capital while working on a learning exchange.
Police in Haiti said Nadia Lefebvre, 32, was abducted while driving through Port-au-Prince around 2 a.m. in a vehicle owned by the international aid organization with which she is volunteering.
The incident happened in a well-to-do residential area of the capital.
Haitian police said they have spoken with Lefebvre and she seems to be doing well.
